For today's review, we have discovered one of the hidden cafes in the Metro that people should visit. Their logo name really draws you in since coffee can be a habit once you've started it.
Habitual Coffee is a third wave coffee shop based in the Philippines, located at Chino Roces, Makati. What makes them different among other Third Wave Specialty Coffee? It is the only cafe that serves coffee brewed using an AeroPress Hand-Brewed coffee made through extracting air pressure. It is a syringe-like coffee device, with the use of a rubber plunger. The method of an Aeropress is comparable to that of a French press, but with a shorter brewing time.

The air pressure brought in by the rubber plunger also affects the flavor extraction, making it more intense and improving the taste. It also lessens the bitter aftertaste in most coffees, creating a more smoother while retaining its raw essence.

They are, of course, famous for their specialty coffee both cold and hot brews. Pastries are also available such as cookies, s'mores, and bars. Also, on the more savory side, snacks such as grilled-cheese sandwiches for you to match with your beverages. Many people recommend Flat White as one of the best served coffee in the house since it is hand-made with the perfect balance of milk and coffee.

In different branches of the café nationwide, Habitual's interior is mainly focused on industrial fixtures and urban modern feel.

According to FatGirlsDayOut blog, the coffee place is good to visit since it's located at a quiet road in Makati, especially on a Sunday where there is no traffic. A good feeling to relax and drink a cup of freshly-brewed coffee late in the afternoon on a weekend.

The shop's advocacy is to support and promote local brands where they supply most of their coffee beans from locals and name it after the place of its harvest. For two years in the Aeropress and specialized coffee in the industry, Habitual already achieved such titles from one of the founders, Kaye Joy Ong, who won 2016 Philippine Aeropress Championship 2nd Place, 2015 Philippine Aeropress Championship 1st Place, and 2015 World Aeropress Championship 3rd Place according to Philippine Primer.Photo taken by fatgirlsdayout
